Here’s the back deck area of the car where I’ve placed the Lucent stick antenna and a Garmin GPS35PC.

The backseat has a 15” standard LCD, Wireless keyboard and a Trackman Live Wireless trackball mouse. This displays whatever is on the front screen.

Here’s a shot of the rear screen with a custom application that I’m having written to control music, movies, pictures (slideshows/printing) and hopefully common controls like the A/C, Radio, lights, etc. Right now, I’ve got about 60,000 MP3’s and 150 DiVX movies which are searchable with this application. As soon as I embed Netstumbler and the internet into this, I’ll make it full screen. Photo slideshows and movies play in full screen or windowed.

Here’s a dim shot from the passenger side rear door showing both front and rear screens.

Here’s a shot of the front screen with Netstumbler up. It’s a 12.1” touch screen, so no fiddling around with a keyboard and mouse.

And, the view of the front touch screen from the back seat. Everyday driving, it’s not in the way, but windy mountain roads, it does, but, you can fold it down so it’s out of the way! J

Here’s the view from the drivers side door. The car is a lease car, so I didn’t want to do any major modifications. The touchscreen base fit real nice in front of the console with a bunch of zip ties around the console to keep it nice and tight. It doesn’t move.

And finally, the PC that’s in the trunk. 2 Drives internal, Lucent Gold PCMCIA card, Combo DVD/CDRW drive, Sound Blaster Audigy,  and 2 external Firewire drives in the wheelwell.
