I've been shooting with the D200 for a month so I guess that it's time to show some results.

First of all I would like to explain my workflow.
When shooting digital, I try to think in terms of film. Therefore I adjust all the settings so that I will have to do as little post-processing as possible. I always shoot JPEGs, so my approach is that if I don't expose it well, I lose it (just like in the old film era). I set custom WB using a white sheet of paper and always use custom, as I find AWB a little bit too cold and harsh. I simply like getting good results straight from the camera.

The following image was downloaded straight from the D200 and only resized. No levels adjustment, no saturation etc... Just a 'raw' JPG file.

There is also the lingerie version in the 'adult' :woot: section of the forum.

I received my D200 Tuesday night and I'm messing around with it today. I've been in the yard shooting bee's and birds. The WB is a bit tricky and the 5fps is wicked. Nice shot, I've yet to photograph any people, I guess my wife counts, but I'm covering a concert tonight and I can't wait to see what the results look like.

Nice shot here, and I didn't know there was an adult section...???

Very pretty Mike, nice colors! Got a series of these on the web anywhere?

A full series will come soon. This shooting was pretty short so the variety of pictures is not big, but the model seems good so I will invite her for a longer session and will post the results.

Good color, good detail, good camera (no personal knowledge), good photographer :)

Mike,
It looks like the D200 is doing everything it should. I like teh accent light on the modles hair. (And, she's got great hair.) And like Bujo, I don't know where the Adult part of the forum is.
