I did the Eclipse sensor swab thing but found I was using too fluid and getting Eclipse goobers.
I then breathed on the sensor and attacked the ccd with a virgin swab and it cleaned it perfect.
YAHOO! :tongue2:

A virgin swab? I'm getting images here of you going into the camera with a tampon or something like that

Perhaps a photo will help....

The problem with Virgin Swabs is that you can only use them once! :)
On a slightly more serious note:
I've finally found the process that works for me .... I"ll use the brush method first (where you use a good nylon brush and you spray air on the tip of the brush to charge it .. I then use that to swipe the CCD - the static electricity picks up large particles) Then I use Eclipse with pads

Hey Rich,
I also thot about that!
I recommend 5 glasses of a red merlot the nite before as a sleeping potion, and commence cleaning the next morning 2 hours after wakening.
Perhaps a "Listerine" gargle would help cut the sensor scum.
I dont think it could hurt.:)
