I have just visited my local wholesaler in the UK and they are now doing an epson 1290s with a permajet adapter which uses pigment dyes. It is supposed to make prints last for 90years. Has anyone elseheard about this and is it good quality.

The Epson 2000 and 2200 use pigment to make prints. Paint, for artists that is, is made with pigment and look how long some of them have lasted. Centuries. Epsons pigments should also last for a long, lonng, lonnng time. But then again that is what poliroid said about their SX-70 metalic pigment pictures. So you never know.
