Here are a couple of shots I took today in Rosslyn Chapel, some of you might have read The Davinci Code .... this is the chapel which is named in it. In fact the woman at the counter told us that it was a very busy place, and she met Tom Hanks etc when they came to visit it for the filming of the motion picture.

Anyway, I couldnt use flash very well in the chapel and there was a bus load of Germany tourists arrived also, so these are more snap shots than anything else.

Fuji S2, ISO1600, and on Full Auto. Just played with a couple images so far, and have some that I need to stitch together but feel free to comment.

I couldnt get full outside chapel photos as the chapel is under a canopy at the moment, as they are drying out the stone during restoration. This canopy has been over the chapel for the past 9 years however

Oh, and here is a snap of our son Sam, sitting, well kinda supported, but sitting on the Rosslyn Chapel walls.

Oh .. and until I get back with more images from today, here is a link to the official site, giving some good history about the chapel.

Nice shots - this place has been besieged by tourists hasn't it? Do they actually believe there's something buried there?!

Thanks again Barbara

Me wonders what I would have been able to accomplish with some undisturbed time and a tripod .... darn tourists ... lol ... oh and there was a sign stating that you can take photos but not allowed to sell them for commercial gain which I laughed at when looking at their site and seeing the photos they got for sale at a massive £400 for high res !!!

Anyway, no tripods allowed .... thanks for comments.
