It was a pleasant shoot, they are a handsome couple, know the groom's family before Pete was the proverbial gleam in his dad's eye, in fact shot his parents wedding 32 yrs ago.
The afternoon light came good, and the water backdrop, while tricky, was a real bonus.

A kind of labour of love for the family, got the Sigma 10~20 as payment in kind :D
He's Russian, she's Greek, the dancing was sprited to say the least, a fun night :beerchug: it was.

Excellent study Serge! :righton: :righton:
Tell the bride "Na zisete". Don't worry it's a good wish (idiom) we use for every just married couple and can be difficulty translated to "I wish you to live many many years together" :)

Thanks Bily, I'll tell Liz when they return.
Here's a couple from inside the church, that you will relate to.
#1 with pop up fill flash
#2 available light
BTW
All shot on the 350D, as I have a 580EX flash to go with it from school.
Had the D200 along as backup, but never needed it on this occasion.
Will need to get an SB 800 for the Nikon.

good luck with the shoot, just enjoy the event, think that you are shooting a documentary, of the day.
And like a good chess player, think two moves ahead :righton:

Ah thats a good idea, I think that way when I shoot everything else except when I shoot a wedding, I guess its that I am trying to to hard and just need to take a deep breat and relax. Hey if you get a chance I would love to see some more of your work.

I invested in a suite of AUTO/fX plugins, which I believe you also use.
Mystic lighting was used for the first one. Dreamy photo on he B/W conversion. The last one just needs a strong groom, guaranteed a laugh :D
