Chris - not sure exactly what you mean by 'old styl', but there are quite a few tutorials available for various color 'hand painting' in PhotoShop (do you use photoshop) .... here is a link to one of them ..... suggest that you 'google' for a few others.

Bill

Chris,

I am uncertain what kind of old photos you are looking for.

A good filter, to generate out of new photos some grainy old ones is the "Old photo filter" from NIK

Find attached a sample of my son...

Chris, try Google search on the following words: Photoshop, action, aged photo or old photo.
I believe you'll find a lot of actions for PS that do the trick.

Try this page, there are some aged/vintage look actions: http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm

Hi Chris,
try this link as well
http://www.escrappers.com/vintage2.html

by the way: to be safe, it's best to post a link to other photographer's photos rather than uploading them here unless you have permission from them.
Eddie.

No Chris I have no tutorials for this, but I think if you register and buy this action you may have some tutorials.
There was an old film action I use to have since Photoshop 5 but I can't find it!!
I'll do a little search and I'll let you know.
