Your welcome Barbara, I've learned a tiny bit, enough to realize there is a tremendous amount for me to learn. However I've found there is a group of folks here that are great and very willing to teach and help us :)

I agree Melody...... i was introduced to this site by Jacqui Jay, she has been so kind to me over the past few years, guideing me in the right direction.......I have more confidance now and feel able to maybe start a small buisness so i am gethering as much info. as i can and your work inspires me........I love portrait photography ...... i have tried ""birds, landscapes "" and all the things you do when you are finding your way around your camaers...
I am a people person so that is were i get the most satisfaction with my photography........The thing with this site is you ask a question and within hours you have an answer from someone half way across the world """"1st class"""" ...... So to all on the site thank you for sharing your knowledge with me..........

Barbara,

I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner I honestly wasn't sure how to respond. That is probably one of the most generous compliments anyone has ever given me, it's not something I'm close to worthy of however thank you very much.

It is much easier to practice and shoot what you love. You might be shocked to learn I love to shoot things that go fast and make lots of noise! Racing horses, cars or jets! :) Or the opposite I'll spend hours watching and waiting at the oceans edge for my sunsets. Portraits etc. are the hardest for me, however I am very much a people person so I enjoy that aspect of it.

Thank you again.
