Saturday was my "stolen" portrait day ! As the weather was nice, i went to the flea-market and got this one !

As with my previous thread (http://theswampbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17423), i didn't ask before to shoot... But a few seconds after o shot, i heard a strong whistle... it was "the husband" (i guess) who said to me: "What are you photographying ? You could at least ask the permission before :beat: !"

"Sorry sir, i was only shooting "that thing" !" i said, aiming my finger toward the mask (and his wife) ... So he said: "OK then !"

errrrr..... i told the truth, didn't i :chicken: ?

*edited* Afterthought !!! i added a black bar over the eyes of the lady ! Hope this clears me of any eventual problem ?

Clears you? UH nope! I'd say the next time you go out after candids and you run into husbands you've got some of those flowers in your hand either for them to give their wife or for your grave marker!

Ok it's 2am here maybe I should get some dinner now...before it's time for breakfast or something

Jean-Pierre, you'd better find a way to afford that Epson RD-1 so you can play the part of digital stealth street photographer without getting into so much trouble :)

Jean-Pierre,

Robin is right! The R-D1 is very unobtrusive. With a wideangle lens shooting from the hip is possible.

On the other hand - I'm a strong believer in freedom of photography in public places - but It depends on how big her husband is I suppose :tongue2: :tongue2:

Hi Robin and Keith ! I saw that RD-1 in adverts and well... i suppose that's the nearest digital camera to the good old Leica ! ...but the price too, unfortunately :cry2: !

Hi Melody !

There you've got an idea :) !!! The problem is still there though: i must shoot first, then give the flower to the lady but then then the husband might get twice as mad at me, thinking i try to pick her up ! (although this lady's not my cup of tea  !)

Cheers,
J-P.

By the way, i thought of another title for this shot... what do you think of:

"Ohhh no... i'm late again... she's allready waiting for me ! said he !"
