Will the Vivitar 850AF Flash work w/ S2?

I am considering the purchase of the new Vivitar 850AF Flash to go on my Fuji S2 and I wanted to know if anyone knew anything about this flash?

It would probably be a good idea to indicate what you mean by "work w/"

Any flash can be used in Auto or Manual modes with the S2. If you are talking TTL control, that is a different level of compatibility.

For older flash units - it would be a good idea to protect your digital camera's synch connector by using a photo or radio slave. The voltage may exceed what the S2 can handle!
