So ... did I get the lighting right this time. Same settings as last time, but I moved the lights further back from model, and also brought model out from the wall a bit more.

Please, tell me what you think ???

Thanks Serge .... as for retouching, minor ... just a small amount (25%) setting on Digital Airbrush Pro Plugin for the facials .... the default is 75, but I am bringing it was down to 25 mainly because the others I tried were excessive. The girls have really nice skin anyway but the odd blemish, one has a mole, and a spot on the chin, other than that the girls are as they are.

Hey Paul,

THanks for that ... the girls are a little bit shy .. not very experienced in the studio, so smiling was difficult for it to look natural and not forced, but I know exactly what you mean. THanks for comments.

Try stopping between shots and smilling with some positive feedback, they should smile right back, unless your smile's too letcherous ;)

That and a couple of good jokes...

Can't wait to see more though!

Looking good Steve.

As already mentioned, a smile will give it that final touch.

A trick that I occasionally use with the shy ones ...... get them in the position you want them in, then get them to close their eyes and think about the silliest thing they have/their boyfriend/sister etc has ever done.

As soon as you see the smile start tell them to open their eyes. The sparkle you get in their eyes can be amazing. Start shooting as soon as they open their eyes.

A laugh/smile can be more powerful in the eyes than on the mouth.

Also, something as simple as a radio or cd playing in the background can greatly help relaxation.

Looking good buddy, looking good

Steve,

Great color and the lights look like you're really getting the feel of them. Only thing I might change is to lower the lights a bit when she's not got even a hint of a smile. Less light on her would add to the mood then.
