I just got back from scouting for locations in the jungles of Panama. I took my S2 with me along with my Nikkor 12-24 lense.
The camera performed flawlessly!!!! I was concerned about the humidity/rain/my sweat constantly pouring down on the body. I did what I could to protect the camera- but sometimes it was just impossible. My hat goes off to Fuji for sealing up the body against moisture. I don't know to what degree Fuji has gone as far as moisture proofing this camera- but, so far all's well. This body seems to have some pretty good resistance to shock as well.
