Remote shutter release for S2 ???

Does anyone have any knowledge of a way to remotely trigger an S2?

I am used to using a radio slave to fire my Hasselblad and find it frustrating to photograph children etc. when tethered to a camera by a cable release.

I have e-mailed a querry to Fuji technical support. Hopefully, the right person with an answer will get back to me.

How far away do you need to be? You would probably need to do it through the firewire interface. Never played with the remote function.

Do you remember using the 500cm and the long release cable that broke often and then a company named Degroff made an expensive nice one, I have also wondered about using my radio slave and hope it can be done, where on the camera would it attach to? I don't know of anyplace:confused: andy
