I've been using the Nikon Sb800 on my S3 with mixed results, any tips on the best settings for indoor and outdoor work ? Thanks in advance for any help.

When you say mixed results, what do you mean? i.e., underexposure, overexposure, indoors vs outdoors?
What mode are you shooting the camera in? What are your current settings? When using the flash outdoors, what are you trying to do? flash fill?

Good questions, Lockett. I shoot the very same combination, though my experience is much more limited because I've only owned my S3 for little over a week and shot it with flash only outdoors in a fill capacity. So far, it seems to work reasonably well, in TTL fill.

Does your S3 have the latest firmware (2.18). The latest firmware claims to fix ttl with some flashes. I found mine worked far better with the firmware update. My first two S3's needed the update but my latest one -- bought about a month ago already had it. You can check the fuji website on how to check your firmware and a file to download if you need it.
