I'm not a member of your group, but something I wanted to share with fellow S2 users, using the Mac EX converter for raw files...
We were having problems here, where about 90% through the conversion, we would get an error that stated " an error occurred, process cancelled ".... giving us nothing more to go on.... And it was pretty simple to solve, but frustrating to track down.... The name of the file size in Mac OS9 is limited to 31 characters... our file names were at the maximum size in the raw mode. When the converter tried to add the extra characters to the name of the file it was converting, and it wouldn't fit, it didn't know what to do, so it just shut down....
Fuji's customer service has been extremely less than helpful in solving any problems or questions that we've had to date, reading your boards, I've learned that I wasn't the only one who had these same problems, only wish that I had found your boards sooner....
Sincerely,
Dan Harper
