Without having to purchase expensive software, does anyone have a good technique for converting a digital photo to one that appears to be a Black/White infared?

Can be done in cs2 .... i'm sure one of the clever guys will let you Know.... i done this a while ago, not sure if this is what you mean..........Barbara

Barbara,
That looks like a conversion to "negative." If you'll be kind enough to tell me the procedure you used I'll try it on a scenic and see if it looks like IR.

i use nikon editor that can be downloaded from their website if you are using nikon cameras.
i shoot infrared in camera raw and convert to black and white from there, takes 3 clicks and then move to CS2 for printing.

Hi Charlie........ i just desaturated, then went to invert ..... added a little contrast.... there you go.........hope this help Charlie........Best wishes Barbara :cheers:
