Hi all,
I have been having problem w/ color saturation/noise/hue (not sure of the exact term for it?) in my son's photo, particularly, the shadow in his hair line. It always show a reddish/Orangy tint in the shadow in the hair when printing and on the screen. This is bugging the heck out of me! I have played w/ many different PS color space settings and all seem to add that noise to the image. The only PS setting I get close to the real thing is turning off PS's 'Color Management'.
At this point, here's what I settle on PS6 settings:
- Color Management Off
When Color Mmgt off is selected, PS6 defaulted the following values to:
- Monitor RGB - p1110 color mapping file
- U.S Web Coated (SWOPv2)
- Gray Gamma 2.2
- Dot Gain 20%
- RGB off
- CMYK off
- Gray off
Is this setting ok, or, what do suggest? I would like to know if you guys and gals convert your S2 image into some other PS color spaces or do you leave PS 'Color Management Off'? I you can tell me what you set so I can try out. I appreciate very much.
TIA,
The'
