Black Square Problem with D2X

I had a look through the old threads because I thought I had seen something about this before. I did, but it was related to the S2 Pro. See http://theswampbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13576&highlight=black+squares.

Intermittently, my camera is giving me a black square and registering f0. It might happen once or twice in 250 shots. Has anyone had this problem with the D2X? I'm out of warranty, as well, so I'm having a nervous breakdown here.

Has anyone had this problem with the D2X? Sorry :( I can't help other than to say I've had no problem with mine. I will keep track of this thread...just in case.I'm out of warranty...You sure?? Might recheck and see if it has a 5 year warranty with it. :cool:

Thanks for coming back on this.
Nope, I've checked the paperwork, only one year warranty.

On the bright side, I've just spent an enjoyable morning getting the S2 ready for an outing or two.

Well, it seems like the S2 Pro and I just don't get on together any more.
So I'm looking at the D200 for a backup and I am afraid the S2 Pro is off to eBay land.
