I read someware that the S2 takes type II Compact Flash cards. Am I dreaming this? I don't suppose anyone out there can tell me the difference between a type I and a type II can they? I have just seen 512Mb type I cards for £180 inc VAT in the UK (Dabs.com) - seems cheap!

I think the Type II cards are a little thicker. The IBM Microdrives are Type II cards, so the camera does indeed accept both Type I and Type II cards.

Just like to confirm Shawn's view,
Indeed the type2 cards are indeed a little "thicker"

The Compact Flash cartel had to abondon naming their Compact Flash cards with a one when Microsoft Corporation won their patent on Zeros and Ones. Now any company wishing to use a Zero or a One needs to pay a royalty fee to Microsoft.;)

And just in case anyone misses the point, the article is a satire. Although, knowing micro$oft, maybe not for long.

There's 11 kinds of people in this world: Those that understand Blade's signature; those that think they understand, but don't; and those that don't get it at all.
