Nikon AF 35 f/2D

Has anybody here got this lens or had any experience of it ?

I figured it was about time I got myself a nice prime lens which would be equivalent to standard, reasonably small and compact and make use some of my current stock of filters !

I suspect it might be a bit soft wide-open but sharpen up nicely by f4 but any opinions and/or sample images would be good.

I can feel a touch of 'Henri Cartier-Bresson' style coming on - single lens, 'capture the moment' and no cropping !! :)

This lens (Nikon 35mm f2.0) is awesome! Iuse it 50% of the time.

Buy one. You won't be disappointed.

I shot this one hand-held as I was driving.I held up the camera hehind my head and took a few shot.

1/108 sec., f-5.2 @ ISO 800. Camera was set on the "Auto" mode.

Edit: This photo looks much BETTER than here on the web.

You won't be disappointed with this len (like I am, here, viewing this image on the net).
