I need to clean my CCD on my S2 but I can't find my AC adapter. Is there any other way to hold the mirror up or is it safe to find another adapter that might fit?

You can clean the CCD without an adapter by using a fresh set of batteries. Although Fuji doesn't reccomend this, it will work. I have blown off my sensor on location without an adapter. What the adapter does is insure that the mirror won't drop due to power failure. It also might create a ground which protects the CCD from static electricity. Touching something metal before starting the cleaning process in order to discharge any static would be a good safety meaure. Baring all of this, any adapter with the correct plug and voltage will do. You need a output of 5 volts and the center of the tip is positive(+). Take your camera into an electronics store like Radio Shack and you should be able to get one that will work.
