Just wondering what file size settings people are using when importing raw fuji files into photoshop?

the default 3024 by 2016
or
4277 by 2851

also was wondering what setting is best for the resolution box as well

thanks

I have the plug in but don't use it. the colors are way off with the S2 and it produces a much less quality image than EX. if Fuji would have worked with Adobe that program would have been great. Its set up a lot better than EX, but as is EX is a best way to go.

your opinion of the fuji raw converter and the adobe raw raw converter is valid but not helpful, i choose to use the adobe converter and would still like to get more info on what settings people are using

rsvpgrfx, Now I know what went wrong with my test. I did a couple of test shots with JPG and RAW and found that the RAW was better in sharpness and contrast but also smaller in size (3024 instead of 4277).

So I should take a better look at the photoshop plugin and set the size.

I cannot acknowledge the remark from Rockyw, since I do not have EX. I read a lot of tests on RAW convertors including the latest on www.bythom.com and understand that EX should produce "better" (I guess that means more accurate to the "Real thing") than photoshop, and offcourse it should. Anyway There are also a lot if critical notes to EX so I'm waiting for Photoshop CS and hope that it comes with RAW settings for the S2!

So in my case the sitting was 3024, but that was unintended.
I'm shooting my godchild's christening this weekend, and planning to shoot it in RAW. I let you know what settings I used and the results
