Over a year and no new posts here.
How many of you still use Kodak dSLRs? I know Igor has one..

I still have a slr/n. I dont use it as much as I should but then again I dont use the S2, D2x, M6ttl and F3HP as much as I should.

I need to do more with it and for one idea I need some serious strength ND filters. The 6asa settings etc are great at 14mp but if you want to use them its long shutter speeds and for most ordinary daylight you cant stop down enough and in some cases if you want say f4 it would over expose by miles.

I love it, it needs plenty of light and is noisy at 200 and above. With the 17-35 AFS though its lovely, although slow compared to the D2x. Warm up time seems to be minutes and its difficult to get your head around all the lens optimisation issues. Certainly not a machine that works straight out of the box.

DP review has a good group who keep the issues and camera alive, its just a pity Kodak didnt refine it and made a Mk 2.

Keeping mine and looking forward to some studio time.

I'm still using mine in studio and love her. IMHO no other camera (I used) comes close to SLR/n in studio. Maybe I'm just too much in love? ;) (love blind ;) )

Well its exactly one year since Igors last post.

I still have mine. I recently had it serviced because it had a 1 pixel line across the images, but that seems to have beeen cured by the service engineer who removed the wiring to the CCD and reconnected it. Since then though ive not used it, which is sad. The D3 is such an awesome tool its difficult to put it down. I had thought of having the Kodak converted to IR, but thats another project.
