Okay, I've looked in the manual and don't see it so it might not be something I can do with the 5D. I would like to keep the info 'on' in the viewfinder (exposure, iso, etc), is this possible? It stays on while you adjust exposure in manual mode then blips out until you half-press the shutter again.

To the best of my knowledge: don't think you can set it to be there permanenty.

Shutter speed, Aperture and light meter bar are the only things you can keep in the viewfinder. ISO will show inside while you're changing it, but there's no room for it after you get it set to show the other three.

Those are the only three things I wanted to keep in the viewfinder! How do I get them to stay there?
