Iris exploded !

The iris i shot yesterday was fully open when i got to work this morning... i thought it was worth re-shooting it !

What glorious colors. I have never seen anything like it. Is it the same species as the purple one you posted before?

Hi Jim ! Yes, it's the same flower that i shot yesterday, but it opened-up completely during the night... so the only way to shoot it was from the top !

I liked more the metal (gold) look in the first one, it still has tremendous color but that way was more close to my likings
