Hi Ben,
You must have read my mind.... I haven't been paid yet... :0 We still have a last session next week.... It's a total of 31 layouts and needed to experiment with every shot in terms of composition and accessories....
Regards,
Dennis

It's a nice clean shot, but what would it look like in color or was black and white the client's choice?
In my personal opinion, for whatever that's worth, I think the shot might look a little better if the camera angle was higher (about 45 degrees) to give it a little more three dimentional look or depth.
Also, the use of utencils or chop sticks, table decorations or something that might mention the name of the restaurant in the picture helps to unify the photo.
I also hope you get paid. Was there any possibility of getting a deposit or percentage of the fee up front to cover expenses?
Good luck with the rest of the job.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your inputs and comments.... the image was taken in S2's b/w mode.
I also took a shot of this in Auto color mode... just wanted to let the client have two different images to work with, plus, I'm personally driven by some b/w food shots I see in some magazines.
As a result, the client preferred to have this b/w image over the colored and had it printed in a tarpuline. :)
We intentionally didn't use the chopsticks as we used them in the previous layouts. :) I've never seen so much chopstick designs in my entire life... :D
I didn't ask for a deposit as the owner of the restaurant is my friend's sister and I'm sure won't give me problems in terms of payment...
I look forward to the next session cause I'll be shooting their chef while working in the kitchen.. :)
Best regards,
Dennis
