Should be night time over in parts of Europe now. Anyone getting any good pictures of 'Aurora's Northern Lights' because or the big sun flare? Was to hit earth shortly.

I guess if I'm asking about pictures, could have put this post in the photos forum.

Here is a good site to see some beautiful pictures of Northern Lights. http://climate.gi.alaska.edu/Curtis/curtis.html

I may have posted this to early. CNN is saying that the Lights may be seen in the US late tonight. So it might be after that or just before that in Europe. Not sure about the time thing.

The alert I just received in my mail said likely "intense aurora" tonight and tomorrow, but more likely tonight.

Too bad it is cloudy and rainy where I am tonight.

I could see the aurora in Edinburgh last night, but it was quite faint and pathetic. There was far too much light pollution as well so I didn't bother taking my camera out. Hopefully it'll be better tonight.:)

Paper yesterday was saying that the Arora's could be seen as far south as El Paso Texas. They had an absolutely exploding shot from Alaska from the night before on the front page. I can't believe only one person has posted a pic so far.
