Hi all,
My first time to post my photo here. Amateur and still in learning.
There is some sample of my wide lens. My comments is good from 20mm to 30mm but significant distortion at full wide.

Can you provide any specifics regarding this photo? ISO, camera settings, lens focal length, etc? Also, can you either provide a photo or provide more description as to what distortion is visible at wide open apertures? Thanks!

Sorry, I lost the Exif info for my previous photo. Here is another one.

I think we have a miscommunication. I was hoping to be able to see a photo taken at the widest aperture of the lens, i.e., f2.8 - 4.

Killian,
I didn't keep any for F2.8-4. I tried it before and I told myself not to do it again. The quality was not good enough. The the sales told me not to do it for Sigma's lens.

I take it then that you primarily photograph landscapes and not people? Having a small depth of field to throw the background out of focus is appealing...

Would someone be kind enough to post a couple of shots taken with this lens at 17mm & f2.8 in daylight? Ideally focused on a person at 2-5 feet?
I've just been moonlighting with a little bit of design work that will be paying enough for me to buy this lens - I'm almost certain that I want it but I'd love some confirmation.
Thanks very much in advance,
Eddie.:)
