Lexar 256MB 12X Compact Flash Card

I just bought this card, did not work. Any suggestions? Which CF do you recommend?

Many people with S2's report problems with Lexar cards. Rob Galbraith has compiled a list of CF cards that work with the S2 and their performance:

I have 3 512mb/12X and 1 256mb/12X Lexar cards and never have had any problem with them.

Have you tried the card in another camera to verify it is not DOA ?

What type of behavior are you getting when you try to initialize card ?

Yes, I did try the card on my PC using a usb adapter, and it worked!

I get a message on LCD stating "no Card"!

Forget it, I feel silly...

are right the card does work...

I did not press the card in enough...
