OK I'm still waiting for the day I can get my S2. This is another with my 602, hope you folks don't mind. I'm taking a local class(actually I know the instructor, he lets me tag along on some commission work, and I have done some work on his computers).

Right now he is having us try to look for using light in more "extreme" conditions, such as early morning, late evening, etc. When I got up this morning I was presented with this opportunity. I had my camera handy, but only got one shot. When I tried to get another angle, she noticed me, and that brought her over looking for a spot on my lap.

Just thought I'd post it here to get some responses, please feel free.

I like the soft light. Don't know if I could ever catch MY dogs like that for even one shot!

I don't know if it's lack of detail because of the soft light or lack of dof, but he looks soft in places. I don't think that's a bad thing here, it adds to the mood.

...very nice shot, delicate treatment.

BTW, I still don't have the S2 either, so I'm glad no one has asked me to leave :D

Thanks for all the responses! These compliments coming from photographers who post the quality that you folks post is very encouraging! You have all made my day.

Yes she is an American Eskimo. I meet so few people who know about them. She has her own personality I can tell you that!
