Just a lonely grave

Bergen-Belsen Concentration camp near Chelle, Germany. Although it is just one lonely grave among thousands buried in huge mounds, this one hurts even more because we know her story.

A very sad and poignant reminder of our past over here in Europe. Anyone with a sense of history knows of the story of Anne Frank and her family during WW2 .I've also visited the house in Amsterdam .
It gets the morning off to a gloomy start , but thank you for sharing this. And it's fitting that out of the many thousands of graves at belson ,this brave girls one is a memorial to all the jews that died and were buried there.
