Dunno how much more Canadian you can get,.. Shot this summer on High Lake, near Falcon Lake in the Canadian Sheild in Manitoba. You know what they say,... how's it go?... Something about Real Canadians know how to make love in a canoe...
Mixed with Channel Mixer, then a gradated curve layer for the sky, andthen added a new sepia filter with a photofilter layer.
Any thoughts , canoe routes or stories you want to share?

Cool!
your a brave man to take your s2 in a canoe.
Done some "Deliverance" canoe trips in Algonquin, myself.
Up at dusk, make miles before the wind picks up, unconsious by nightfall!
A natural way to travel.
Definitley Canadiana shot.

I'm afraid that my canoe skills aren't good enough for me to risk taking an S2 on board, although I have been out this year - just not with a camera. I like your shot, it's calm and I think a pretty "Canuck" view, although our cousins down south do have similar vistas. I prefer canoeing in the early morning or late in the day as the sun is going down - it's usually quiet and no too windy. Here's a shot from the Muskokas (Lake Jeffery) around 7:00 in the morn, I'm about to go for a paddle (the S2 stayed on the dock). Cheers.

hehehe well, I guess I better confess. Not that I ever claimed to be actively canoeing when taking this...
The canoe was tied to the dock,at one end. I placed my feet in the canoe and swung it out to point at the water...
No S2 was harmed in the making of this shot!

Got me! You dog you!
Time to get a housing for the S2 and go white water rafting!
Cheers.
