Hi All,

I shot this in RAW, converted to 6mp standard size and thought you should see the skin details.

I cropped it across the eyes so that the file wasn't too big.

From my own personal point of view, this is why I bought the S2 and why I went digital, for me this beats my Bronica and Hasselblad leaf lenses. Its lighter, brighter and makes my work much more versatile, and all said it's cheaper.

I shot it in the studio, 1/125th at f9.5, no tripod (but fash studio flash).

This lens is just great, I also used recently the 60mm macro and as Wayne states, it too is tack sharpe, however I bought the 50mm 1.4AFD because the autofocus is faster.

She was aout 1.5 to 2 meters away I think.

Great photo! Subject too of course :)
I use this lens for macro only, now I see it's good for portraits as well.

Sometimes it can be too good, if you know what I mean, the 60mm as Wayne says is really just as good.

During the RAW conversion the sharpening was the 'out of the box' photoshop cs 25%. i think it could do with a little more to make it even better.

Anyone have any really great USM ratio's for skin...?
