I came across this website by accident - and I must say it has been absolutely fantastic - I don't feel alone anymore. I purchased my S2 13 months ago and I have been very pleased with it but of course I've had problems - thinking it was all my fault - but you guys have had the same problems and it's just great to find solutions. Isn't it great that people from all over the world can help each other!

Welcome from the Midwest, where we grow corn corn corn corn corn corn soybeans and corn!

Don't ask me why it's called the Midwest.

If I drive 1 mile in any direction from my house, I'd be stuck in a cornfield. If I drove 30 miles East, I'd be stuck in Chicago traffic (at the Cumberland Toll Booth, near O'Hare International Airport).

If I stay home, I can Forumize with S2 users worldwide!

(I thought everyone in the UK was already a member here.)

Tom, you need to get Shawn to add a special smiley to the forum just for you.

I'll add my welcome as well. Welcome from Ontario, Canada (ok- the colonies for those of you from the UK)

(In the spirit of Mr Voegeli)

If I drive 5 kilometres to the west-southwest, I'll be at the CN Tower (approx center of Toronto). If I drive north for 10 kilometres, I'll still be in Toronto - an urban sprawl part of it "nice houses - too bad they all look the same". If I walk 500 kilometres south, I'll fall down a high cliff and then get wet since I'll be in Lake Ontario. (Too cold to swim - fishing isn't good either)

If I stay in front of this monitor I can talk to other S2 owners until my wife suspects I am cyber cheating on her!

My mother-in-law is even named Dorothy, but she never had a dog named Toto. Where are you from in West England. My wife and I have a lot of friends that are Scousers and we would love to get back over there to visit. I even don't mind driving on the left side of the road, and I kind of like the roundabouts. We could use more of them over here in place of a lot of useless stop lights.

Thanks for all your kind replies - I live in Sowerby Bridge which is near Halifax in West Yorkshire. If I turn right from my front door and walk about 200 mtrs I would fall in a canal - if I turn left and walk about 300 mtrs I would be lost on the Yorkshire Moors!

Another big hello from the colonies, this time in god-forsaken Winterpeg!

You really must SHOW us said canal with a snap from your new camera!... and yes you have to thrilled, as for all the forums I visit, this one is the warmest. Something about owning a S2 makes you a kinder gentler shooter ! :-)

Corn? I kinda miss that....from Iowa, now in Kansas. Went from LOTS of corn to land of wheat and sunflowers. Now, I LIKE wheat and sunflowers, but you can't HIDE in them like you can a good corn field.

I also miss all the political sparring going on in Iowa right now. Kansas is still the midwest, but I almost feel like I'm in a different country sometimes.

Yeah, need a new smiley face for Tom and his foureyes, and I DON"T mean glasses!

OK, Andre and Tom,

I've added a new four-eyed smiley just for Tom. Don't let me catch anyone else using it. ;) Tom already knows how to use it. :D
