I intend to write a few tutorials regardless of whether or not the ancients are recovered. I just about have my Sharpening tutorial ready. I will put it in here, as well as make a downloadable PDF document.
I would like to cover:
Sharpening
Levels/Curves
Masking
Perspective Correction
What the heck is L*A*B and how come it is so great?
I think the new Photoshop CS's built-in RAW converter is awesome! and might see if I can make a tutorial that shows off what little I know about it.
I am not the last word on tutorials, and cannot claim to be a "real" expert. I just know what I know, and I know enough to get the job done. I do know that the instructions and quick tutorials that come with most software barely instruct, and often does not really teach you what is going on. I have bought a few 3rd party books, which are good if they help YOU understand the software.
So, my question is, what other tutorials would US members like to see?

Tom,
Nothing else to add but I for one would like to see your masking tutorial placed to the top of your list. I've worked in PS for 5 or 6 years, am self taught but have never quite got the hang of advanced masking technique.

For me, what you have in mind is great. I'm looking forward to learning from them. Thanks, Tom! Or should I say "Sir" since you are a super senior member and we are all just low level, grunt-like, regular, run of the mill members?:D

After we figure out the old database and where it's headed and get it all situation, I'm going to make a forum called "Tom's Tutorials". I think it's fitting here and also that everyone will agree that Tom is like the "dad" of Photoshop.

I see several add ins available, but can't PSCS do an adequate job?
Are the add ins any better? If so, then which one should I get?
Thanks Tom for your awesome tutorials.

I find that you can do most anything in PS that a Plug-in can, however, the plug-in's have been setup to be much easier to use. Say you have a plug-in to do frames. You know you can do frames in PS yourself, but the plug-in throws in a few sliders and stuff to make it all really easy to do.
Learning process worth it over the price of the plug-in? Depends. Do you wanna be like Tom or not? :D

I just let my subscription lapse in September, but I'm thinking of renewing- the DVDs were a treat to get, and even though he's Canon-centric, I found the Photoshop, printer and trip sections well worth-while.
