It was due, in no small part, the S2pro web sites informative forums that I bought this camera, and to my dismay the site disappear just when I had first test image to submit!
Many thanks swampy on relaunching the site.

Hi Scott - we are in very similar situations. I purchased my S2 just 2 weeks ago and I also missed the forum when it was down! I also have the Tamron 28-75 lens, and so far I really like it! Right now my learning curve is learning the different focus and metering options, as well as setting custom white balance properly. I like the pic - makes me wonder why it is all by itself in the field....and that it must have been there quite a long time because of the brush surrounding it. The sky is a bit bright/blown out, but overall a very nice pic. Thanks for sharing.
