I'm starting my own thread cause I think it's nicer to see more threads of peoples testimony's to the greatness of the S2.

Lower noise than the rest, great 12mp interpolated shots. The ease of the menu (ergonomics) makes it great to handle versus all the other cameras I've laid my hands on (D100, H1/DCS645, D1x, S1, 14n, etc.)

Buy it if you're looking. It's well worth it. Heck, buy two. I probably will buy my second one soon too.

I bought a second one and called it Mel's! <g> He has the S2 and a Nikon D1. His S2 is my backup! Works for ME, not sure how he feels. <g>

I definitely like the way you think, Linda . . . now if I can just rotate the camera bags fast enough so my wife doesn't realize that there are TWO cameras in the house . . . .
