All good photo retailers should stock filters, thay should have all sizes in UV and skylight in store, as these are most popular.
As with any photography the glass will detemine the quality of the image. This is important in digital photography, a cheap filter will degrade an image, even if its on a good lens.
I use Hoya filters, they have an extensive range. I believe its worth paying extra and getting the Pro1 quality filters.
There are many other filter makers who have a good reputation, look for names like B&W or NIkon own brand filters.
As with lenses you will get what you pay for.
Happy shopping
Simon

Dear X-Sync
Thanks for the reply, :)
I have heard "Hoya" brand mentioned by others as well, so would have no problem looking there.
X-Sync, and all...
Have done the "Google" search bit... but very limited in the "U.K. search"
Anyone one else Purchased the Hoya Super HMC Pro in the U.K. and willing to share supplier details ?
Looking for 72mm Thread sizes..
Kindest regards

The HOYA HMC range can be found at the following sites:
www.warehouseexpress.com
www.jessops.com
www.mifsuds.com
www.speedgraphic.co.uk
All the above suppliers are well thought of by the UK photographic press, and I have used them myself without problems.
Hope this is of help
