Looks like myself (except guitar) giving myself a concert at 3:00 am, after a gig, when I can't sleep.
It's my therapy.

Well...actually... this isn't my usual playing spot either. I usually play in the studio. It's soundproof and prevents banjer noise from driving Jane to distraction. There are few windows in the recording studio, so the light isn't very good for photography there.

I play in the guest bedroom, my audience consists of one grey cat.
Nice shot 5string.

Prefer live gigs in front of people, extroverted introvert, you know. Hope to studio soon and spare bedroom is where I go to "hide out".

Just from bill collectors ,,,,,,,,,,,, or those to whom I am indebted! (money orders = "orders for money")

There's always music in my home, either playing live or from the stereo. Guitars, bass, piano, sax, clarinet.
Here's my daughter with my black & white Fender Strat, photoshopped to the hilt. I joked that this could be her first CD cover.
Living in New York City offers endless sources for live music. I'm headed to a jazz gig tonight. Friday it will be a local blues club.
I'm leaving the S2 home so I can relax and enjoy the music. If the guys see me with the camera they always bother me for photos. They almost stop playing so they can look at the LCD.

The photographer rarely gets in the picture. I have a difficult time doing a self portrait. This one turned out ok. I did another self portrait for a book that a name brand banjer player (Butch Robins) wrote. It feels strange to be on the "wrong" side of the lens. If you want to check out some of my admittedly amateur graphic design, go to butchrobins.com. I did the design for the website without knowing anything whatsoever about it. That truth will probably be self evident when you see the site.
