But who is Blackjack?

Blackjack, or BJ (We've had our names for so long, people actually call him BJ, and people actually call me Swampy), is a great friend of mine. We're always too busy to do anything, but when a problem comes up, especially web based, he comes over and fixes stuff.
Although, I know the database thing is going to be a lot of work, so we've set up a couple different servers to play on while we continue to post here. He's also got a local copy of this database and the original one and is working on melding it all together.
Great friend indeed. I own him alot. OH. WHoops. I meant OWE. :P Sorry BJ. Just a little slippage from our Quake days. :D

Melding? Is he Vulcan? We just might need a Mr. Spock or a Data to save the old forum info.

guess that would be a coin from Star Trek, wouldn't it. I was wondering what he was doing holding my Server and that CD like the way he was....

owned? 1v1 Quake2 map q2dm1.. and we will see Swampy.. muahahahaaa... no railgun to save you.
As for the getting the old site up and running.. my pleasure. It's awsome to see a board like this be so active, focused, and fun. Seeing it not function correctly is a shame. Just happy to help out.
After reading all these posts and melding the images back together again, I came to this thought.. 'Hey, maybe I might give the Sony F707 to the wife (as if I haven't already) and take on something more interesting like an S2'
Swampy.. you are a bad influence.. next I will be rewiring my house too.. oh wait, I've already done that

I knew it. Let you handle the S1 and S2 at that air show and I knew you'd be thinking about it for the rest of your life.
I think the first time I touched the S1/S2 before I bought, was like the first time I got behind the wheel of a Lambo. I'm still saving for that one though. :D
Let me know when you're ready and I'll help you find a good place to buy one, unless you're going used off of eBay. Ritz Camera may have Xmas financing available too. That's what I did. 6 months, no interest, in 2 months, it was paid off.

Yee haw! One more for the board!
I really don't think the administrator would crush you if you wanted to participate without and S2...(would you, Swampmaster?)
But you'll LOVE it once you get it.

Linda - that's what he was saying. He's got a Sony 707 right now. He was thinking of giving it to his wife. Well - the post is is right there.... :P
I had let him shoot my S2 at the Edwards Airshow, as well as an S1. I think he's hooked and just doesn't want to admit it. :)

Sorry,
voice inflectins and sarcasm don't show up too well in print. I was emphasizing his lack of aquisitions...encouraging, letting him know that to be 'Da Man' without an S2 just isn't the same!
