Okay, I have this little problem of how to power my battery charger and tripper (to store my digital images in) while travelling in Thailand for 2 months. I really only need to charge those two units and as I will be travelling on a bicycle, I don't want to carry a heavy transformer.
Any ideas?
thanks,

I just got back from there. 220 volts in Thailand but the use the standard plug. It you power adapter is a 100-240 then you won't have a problem. Is you can't find an adapter before you go, you can get one there for about 500 baht. (12.50 USD).
Where are you going in Thailand, maybe I can tell you a few places to check out!

Hey Dhani, how come you didn't come up to Udon while I was there? :) Oh yeah, I didn't tell anyone I was going! Spent most of the time working. I took one day off to go to (spelling?) Nong Kia. Got some great shots. I'll post them when I get some down time.

Dahni & Fralgh,
Thank you so much for all your help. Thailand is a wonderful country. This will be my third time there. We are returning because of all the countries we have travelled, Thailand stands out as the best place for us to travel with kids and bikes.
What type of photography do you do in Thailand? I shoot commercial photography primarily (furniture, room settings, and lifestyle), and also a lot of personal assignments.
I will call you if I have any more questions or problems after we get into town. Thanks again,
bob
PS: I will be checking my e-mail every so often.
