Hi all,
I think you mostly all know by now I work in a pro lab and I see digital files enlarged every day from scanned negs, scanned prints and any and all digital cameras.
I printed some of my own yesterday, up to 16 x 20, from Both my Canon D60, scanned slides and the S2. wooo!!! S2 beat them all, I'm afraid. Wish I'd had it much sooner! The clarity and transition from sharpening is so much smoother and nicer with it than the other methods of digital input.
I also, of course, love the colors. Some are from RAW, either Canon or Fuji and some are from jpg (our last trip had us on a short leash for number of exposures due to 'losing' both our laptop and image tank)
I printed this as both an 11 x 14 and 16 x 20. No difference in quality.
I call it 'Window of Hope'
