What are everybodies hopes and plans for the next year ? Any projects that where in the pipeline that finally get a chance ?
Big changes, new stuff to buy etc. etc.

My big plan is to move to a new house and get myself a bigtime oversized workspace, so I can finally find a space for my coffeemug. Second monitor naturally and hopefully a dual G5, get my site up by the end of january and have myself a great year while I'm doing it.

Spend more camera time going back to shooting what I want (rather than just to please the client).

Strive to experience some of that excitement I had when I first started shooting.

Play more music.

Allow myself to be content with myself.

Hey did you see there is a Bluegrass tribute to Led zepplin?

My new year's plans include reducing the amount of cash I am spending on tech realted books,... and we're trying to have a baby. you think the two are related in anyway? :-)

Ian

Thanks for the link. I did check the previews. Now I must preface these remarks so you know that I have nothing at all against bluegrass and enjoy bands such as Del McCoury and even some of the old Flatt & Scruggs picking but-------I also like Led Zeppelin very much. I guess that I can not really figure out why Led Zeppelin music needs a Bluegrass rendition. Once again, I also can not figure out members of one of the political parties but evidently quite a few do. I guess it is either a taste acquired or one for a true bluegrass fan.

It was different to hear Kashmir in bluegrass.

1. See Led Zeppelin at the bluegrass festival!!!
2. Learn how to use CS.
(Do I really have to read the manual???)
3. Clean the downstairs, so I can reclaim my office, the kids will
have a play room that doubles as a studio.
(This is a repeat for the past several years.)
4. Suggest to senior mgt that they establish a forum like this for
employees, to compliment e-mails... (Not that they usually
listen to me. Shawn or Bryan do either of you have a
packaged presentation?)

We're end users of vBulletins, not sales people for them. :) This is one of the more feature rich forums out there though.

Heck, let them sign on here. Someone else did to show thier boss or something at work to try and sell them on it.

Build a new business, well it sounds better than spend money on a hobbie! Or it was easier to sell to my husband that way

I just ordered the epson 9600, and a 40x64 maxi press so I can put pictures on fabric. I've sewn and to put the two hobbies together is going to be interesting. I can't wait to make a suede vest with a picture of a wolf or my dogs on it that no one else has, I like the creative process and unique things. I just read about making silk drapes with images on them my mind is swirling with that possibility along with others.

My basic goals for the new year are for my husband and myself to be healthy and happy. OH yes and for our current business to continue well so I can afford my hobbies!

Wishing you all health, happiness, and prosperity for the new year.

Smunky,

You have the right idea to pay for everything in cash! Regrettably, not all of us can do that so we have to control our credit card impulses and be very judicious.

Mostly, I operate on a cahs basis, however, I needed the lights now and the 6 mo no interest got me to order the VR as well. All will be paid off before then.

Maybe the S3 will be out by then so I can start the process over again, hehe.

For 2004, I vow to:

Stop procrastinating, perhaps around March. Maybe sooner, if I get around to it.

Take more pictures of my wife and kids, if they look any better or more interesting than they did in 2003.

Spend more time with myself.

Work only 40 hours per week, leaving 128 hours for sleep.

Think more clearly probably organize could thoughts my so truck I confusion end.

Lets see, do well in my new job.
Stop living in the past, forgive and forget.
Make peace with my estranged wife, which has started to happen, don't know if reconciliation is on the cards, but just to be friends and I am having Christmas dinner with the family. See my sons develop into fine men.
That's not asking to much, is it?
Gratefull for tender mercies! :)

Wishing everyone here, Peace, Love and Hapiness at this special time and for a prosperous and safe New Year :righton:
