Take look here for a dramatic example of how using the Fuji S2 Raw mode can save an otherwise unuseable image.

To be honest: I am impressed...
2 Days ago I received the Hyperlink Software, and I was not sure to install it (I am still using 98, but it requested W2k). I think, I will try it now.
But on the other hand:
What the hell did you do with the camera to get an Original like this?
Anyway: this was the first hint for me to use the RAW-Mode - I normally work with *.jpg, but this was really impressive.
Thank you for that example.

Since the raw data requires conversion to view it, was the top image showing the image as it converted with the camera's settings? What converter?
I see the shot data and don't see how you could have such underexposure. 1/180 sec, ISO 400, f/4.8 looks quite workable for the scene. What's your workflow to get the first image?

As stated in the web page, the Exif data and the 1st image were extracted using the Fuji Thumbnail viewer by justrightclick.com
The Jpg thumbnails use the camera settings

Looks impressive but how can I load my Hyper Utility software on my Windows 98 SE PC? I am forced to use my LE version right now becuase the HU seems to want Win2000 and I am not looking forward to changing OS.

I don't understand it (or the explanation) either.
